Fall 2020 Intern

Emily Burke – SSDL Intern

Emily is a senior double-majoring in sociology and justice and society. She is involved with research on U.S. Catholic bishops and climate change with Dr. Danielsen and Dr. DiLeo and an independent research project on U.S. Catholic bishops and scientific appeals. As the Fall 2020 SSDL intern, she is assisting with the Omaha Eviction Project.

Summer 2020 Interns

Audrey Greder – GIS Intern

Audrey is a double major in psychology and criminal justice. She is working on creating online maps and dashboards for the Omaha Eviction Project this summer. She is also working on a spatial analysis of sex offender residency restriction violations in Nebraska and Omaha.


Thea Pflum – Community Outreach Intern

Thea is a rising senior medical anthropology major. She is helping the lab with community outreach work related to the Omaha Eviction Project. This summer, she is also working for the AmeriCorps in Eastern Wisconsin on food insecurity amid the COVID-19 pandemic.


Spring 2020 Intern

Kevin Boes

Kevin graduated from Creighton in May with a Bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology. He was the SSDL’s first intern, assisting with start-up tasks, data management and coding, assisting students in the lab’s Statistics in the Social Sciences course, and conducting independent research.
