Estep work on vaccines featured in national, local press

Dr. Kevin Estep, assistant professor of health administration and policy, has been featured in several local and national for his role as an expert in vaccine hesitancy.

Estep appeared on two sociology podcasts: This Week in Sociological Perspective, hosted by Sam Lucas at UC-Berkeley, and the official podcast of American Sociological Review. In both appearances, Dr. Estep discussed his new article published in ASR, co-authored with Pierce Greenberg, titled “Opting Out: Individualism and Vaccine Refusal in Pockets of Socioeconomic Homogeneity“.

Also in recognition of his research, the American Sociological Association listed Dr. Estep as one of three sociology experts on vaccines in a national press release.

Dr. Estep has also been featured in several local news stories on NET Nebraska and KMTV.
